研究方向:
       邓兴旺实验室以拟南芥、水稻等为主要研究对象,主要从事植物光信号转导、非编码RNA、植物杂种优势分子机理和分子设计育种领域的研究工作。实验室具体研究方向如下:
       1. 植物光形态建成的分子机理
       2. 植物非编码RNA功能分析
       3. 植物杂种优势形成的分子机理
       4. 水稻功能基因组与分子设计育种

 

研究成果:
       长期从事植物光形态建成和农业生物技术方面研究工作,是国际植物生物学研究领域的主要科学家和领军人物之一,其实验室的研究工作已经形成了关于植物光形态建成调控机制的经典理论体系。最先发现的光形态建成的核心抑制因子COP1是近25年来拟南芥中研究引用频率最高的基因,在前10个频率最高的基因中有4个是其实验室为主的贡献。其实验室至今发表学术论文近350篇,其中在国际顶级期刊《Nature》、《Science》、《Cell》上发表14篇,在植物领域权威期刊《Plant Cell》上发表70余篇。根据Thomson Reuters集团2020年发布的最新数据,邓兴旺教授又入选全球高引用率科学家之一,所发表的文章他引近28000次,其h-指数(h-index)高达104 (https://www.webofscience.com/)。近十多年来,其将工作重心逐渐转向国内,对中国生物学基础研究、农业生物技术的研发等方面做出突出了贡献,组建并主持北京大学-耶鲁大学联合研究中心,组建并领导国际一流的北京生命科学研究所(NIBS),推动国家作物分子设计中心的发展,筹备建立了北京大学现代农学院和北京大学现代农业研究院,推动中国农业生物技术的发展。
